Honey Cake Horse (HCH) has been around since 2015 – family-run, straightforward and with a hospitable spirit that is more likely to say ‘Your coffee is ready’ than ‘Please open your ticket’.

As lifestyle curators, we are pioneers in creating authentic experiences around real estate: with an eye for detail, a sense for the big picture and the little things: from the scent when you arrive to the feeling when you leave. Led by Larissa, a graphic and communication designer with 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, we combine brand aesthetics, hospitality culture and operational precision to create services that take the pressure off owners and touch guests. Our 10 years of local roots are reflected in fair partnerships with Portuguese service providers, short distances and sustainable values that carry through in everyday life – not just in the pitch.

Behind Honey Cake Horse is Larissa, founder, host and designer.

With 20 years of experience in the catering industry, a degree in graphic and communication design and over a decade in the Algarve, she combines creativity, structure and warmth.

Since 2015, she and her team have been curating places that touch people's hearts – combining German quality standards with Portuguese joie de vivre.

JULIE - CREATIVE

Julia translates complex messages into clear, friendly visuals and holds design systems together without shouting. She guides the design with a keen sense of typography, materiality and brand consistency across all touchpoints. Her repertoire ranges from branding and corporate design to digital creation – always with the same goal in mind: beautiful, strategic, meaningful. This is how visual storytelling becomes a home for the brand – you can see the smile in the typography.

Ideas are allowed to swarm, wobble and grow: sketches, mood shots, micro prototypes.

Courage becomes method, curiosity becomes know-how. Lightness in the process, substance in the result – always with a wink.
